Happy Holidays! 12/18/13

I hope you and your loved ones are enjoying a relaxed Holiday Season and you have a Happy and Prosperous New Year (I don’t know if this qualifies as a Christmas tree, but it does give you a pretty good idea of what northern Vermont looks like this time of year).

  1. So sorry for you Wayne. Here in Florida, we’ll be in the low 80’s this weekend. Trees here aren’t sure what season it is. Keep warm and drean of spring

  2. Don’t think there’s anything to be sorry for. The trees are nicely insulated by the snow, and allows the trees to rest. Ans the snow looks beautiful, the air is crisp and fresh… just the way it should be at Christmastime. As for driving in the stuff though, yuck.

  3. Hi There

Just to help warm you up its expected to get to 41c here in NSW Australia today.

Cant wait, Seafood for Dinner on the 25th Big Aussie Banana Prawns. (YUM)

Just to rub it in a bit more, the dress will be T shits & Shorts on the day.

Have a nice Christmas to all, stay warm.

I think Brian got it. Trees are insulated and it’s beautiful out. However, we’ll see how beautiful I think it is come early April and there’s still snow (it happens).

    Hi There

Well we all cooked on the East Coast of NSW yesterday. After heavy watering in the late afternoon & again in the morning just to soak the pavers & cement, stands & fill up water trays to create a humid environment.

Not a leaf was burnt seeing that it got to 97 at miday & no cloud cover just hot burning sun, hope all others survived OK here in OZ.

  6. Hi John,
Good to hear you and your bonsai thriving down there in that dry heat. I guess it works pretty well as long as your don’t run out of water.
