Old favorites back in stock
Over at Stone Lantern, tools that some of you have been waiting for are back in stock; including my favorite, these sword shears. I do a lot of bonsai field growing as well as landscaping and keep mine close at hand to make quick work of of 10,000 little jobs.

And some new additions
Lately we’ve noticed an upsurge in interest in hand carving tools, so we thought we’d add this handy 3 piece set that comes in its own handsome wooden box. They’re made in Japan of high quality carbon steel, so all you have to do is make good decisions and apply pressure in the right places.

This Okatsune sharpening stone has one rounded edge for your concave cutters and other curved-blade tools. Okatsune makes some of the best tools in the world, and this stone is designed to keep them sharpe over the long haul.

Speaking of Okatsune, my other favorite shear is back in stock. Like my sword shears (above) I keep this one close at hand. Though these bypass shears look like they might be related to Felcos, don’t be fooled. You’ll notice the difference with the first cut (and the thousands of cuts that come after that).
