On A, I would take off 5, 7, 9, and 10.
On B, I would take off 10 through 15, 6 and 7.
Ken
Thanks again Ken. Anyone else?
On tree A, I would remove 1, 2, 3, and everything below 8. It’s too long for my taste, but has a decent trunk. Nicer taper on branch 6.
On tree B, I would cut off everything above branch 9 and develop a new apex from the inside of that foliage pad.
On A I would move 4 forward and 5 back, shorten 6 and 9, remove the upward part of 7 and everything below 10. I would encourage 1 and 2 to grow a bit more and then jin 2.
On B I would remove everything above 7 and train it as a new apex OR
remove/jin everything below 7 and above 3 and style the remaining pads down.
On A, I would remove 1,2,4,5 and 7 and style as dan-kengai.
On b. I would remove everything below 5 and style as bunjin-ji.
The pots are just right to the styles.
on figure B I would take out 1-8&14
on figure A I would take out 5,7,10 and simply shorten
