You can judge a book by it’s cover. The wild and wonderful tree on the cover tells a small piece of a story about an American bonsai pioneer who gets it right. Though we could say much more about this unique and beautiful book, we’ll save that for later. Meanwhile, stay posted; we expect it by late August.

Judging from the picture, I think this bonsai plant is well taken cared of. Dan Robinson is a genius. He do wonders with bonsai.
Yes. No doubt Dan is a brilliant bonsai artist, collector and all the rest.
I got to spend a whole hour talking to Dan at last week’s convention. He’s a really fun guy, definitely not your typical bonsai master type when it comes to talking. He’s also a great storyteller who has a lot of interesting stories to tell. I got to preview the book and it’s got one thing most bonsai books lack….lots of pictures! He had a copy out and didn’t mind that I was spending a good half-hour looking through it page by page. My only regret was that the $12 I had in my pocket wasn’t enough to purchase the book. I could’ve walked away with a personalized signed copy.
