  1. The tree is a nice one, the pot and stand are nicely matched but the two tone stone leaves me cold. Just something about the light colored section that I am not ‘feeling’.

  2. I echo Dan’s sentiment. In nature, if a tree grows on a rock, you can usually count on other stuff growing on the rock too. As soil, duff, dust, etc., accumulate in the nooks and crannies, so do mosses, ferns, grasses, smaller shrubs, etc. So make this planting more natural by inserting moss plugs into the low parts of the rock, and don’t wash the rock, ever!
